Bibliographic Archive
The bibliographical archive includes a great diversity of literary works and monographs on the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte. In parallel to the sanctuary’s sacred history, it is also evident the importance of this space as a holiday retreat and summer resort. With that, the library of Bom Jesus do Monte’s hotels emerged in the late nineteenth century. This rich heritage is the result of the incorporation of the hotel’s old library.
The Memory center of Bom Jesus has been enriching its bibliographic collection trough a number of donations, institutional and private, that have been carried out throughout its years of existence.
